Conformation: The way breeders evaluate breeding stock to add to their kennels. Today it has become as much of a sport as an evaluation of breeding stock and there are a lot of people who enjoy the sport who are not breeders.

The Honeysuckle Cluster is held in Perry Georgia the first weekend of June each year.

Obedience: developed as a sport in the 1930s to show how well behaved and obedient our dogs are. Obedience has several levels of difficulty and is open to all dogs.

Rally: An offshoot of obedience, was developed as a less formal type of obedience that is based more on developing teamwork between owner and dog. In rally the team works through a course of 10 to 20 tasks such as sit, front, and stay.

Georgia National Fairgrounds is located in Perry Georgia off I 75. All buildings are airconditioned for the comfort of the dogs
